here is my story
Have you felt tired, unhealthy and a bit overweight? Have you tried to lose weight and failed? You are not alone, I felt the same way. In today's world the way medicine fixes things is to prescribe a medication. I was given prescriptions for high Blood Pressure & Cholesterol. I was on these medications for over 2 years and thought there has to be a better way to be healthy. One day, I saw a brochure about a meeting for Take Shape For Life (TSFL), and that is where my new road to health began. I was able to drop 35 pounds in 3 months, with the help of my Health Coach. Due to this weight loss, my Cholesterol went from 218 to 126 and my triglycerides went from 109 to 40 in just 3 months! I was heading down the wrong health path and was looking to improve my quality of life so I could enjoy life as the years went on. My journey with TSFL began as just wanting to improve my health so I could enjoy life with my grandchildren. Since I've been on TSFL my quality of life has improved dramatically and I love being able to keep up with my grandchildren. As a Certified Health Coach, I am your free resource to guide you through our program and provide on-going personal coaching. I will guide you on your journey and give you the support and skills necessary to help keep you focused on your journey to achieve your health goals. A healthy weight is just the beginning. Once you achieve your desired weight loss, I will help you transition into the Maintenance program, which will allow you to put your Healthy Habits to work to support permanent health.
